Chocolate Turkeys

Ever had a chocolate turkey??
They are so easy to make and turn out adorable!!
Oh, and they are delicious.

You'll need:
your favorite variety of M&Ms (in fall colors or regular bags minus the blue)
orange tulle or a bag that cuties come in
fall colored pipe cleaners
googly eyes
Elmer's glue

Cut a square of tulle out.
Put a generous handful of m&ms in the middle
and use a pipe cleaner to close off the bag.
Bend pipe cleaners into feet shapes and feather shapes
and tuck them into the tulle.
It helps if you attach the feathers to the pipe cleaner you cinched the pouch off with.  The feet will just get poked into the bag of m&ms.
Make the head, turkey gobble, beak and then wrap it around the bag of m&ms.

Play around with it - the pipe cleaners are VERY forgiving!

I used these as place card holders a few years ago
and tied a monogram name tag around each turkey's neck.
These will be a big hit for kids and adults!!

Gobble Gobble!

  1. How cute are these?! Such fun place holders for kids especially! I'd probably get into trouble with the M&MS while making them :)
