Hooray for Friday!!

We were busy this week with my husband out of town, my in-laws visiting and lots of things on our calendar.  I'm ready for the weekend and hoping to get to relax a bit.

The highlights of our week were:

1. I've been really impressed with Old Navy again this season.  I love so many things from their summer line for women and toddlers.  We picked up some new things this week - shorts, floral, lots of pattern and bright colors.  Here's a sneak peek:

2. My MIL came in town for a visit earlier this week.  We did a total yard overhaul in just a few days.  Our yard looks great - I'll have to do a bloggy tour of it next week.  We worked really hard, clocked 17,000+ steps each day and the yard looks lovely.  Here are a few of my favorite flowers.

3. I've learned a ton about gardening this week - flower names, best methods to take care of plants, sunny vs. shady plants and more.  Olive LOVES helping out in the yard.  She enjoys digging in the dirt and watering things (mostly her own shoes, but we're working on it :)

4. Some days I need to make breakfast in a hurry so I picked up these Sister Shubert cinnamon rolls.  I'm happy to report that they were delicious and only took about 20 minutes to make.  Everyone loved them.

5. I have an abundance of pastel m&ms since Easter so I've added them to chocolate chip cookies and brownie cookies.  Both were delicious and both were shared with friends.

What was the best part of your week??
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  1. I bought the navy and floral maxi from ON, and I love it. I'm jealous of your shorts weather. It's snowing here, sigh.

  2. Hibiscus are my favorite flowers!

  3. I love that floral pattern at Old Navy! Those cinnamon rolls look ahmazing!

  4. I spent almost $200 in Old Navy this past weekend...found some good clothes for work!

  5. Can't wait to see the the tour of your freshly-planted grounds! I grabbed a pair of pants at ON last weekend - looks like you found lots of goodies. Yay for new stuff! Have a lovely weekend!

  6. I love Old Navy and I love all of your finds. Olive's clothes are adorable. Looks like she was having a blast in the flower garden. I really need to get my flowers planted. Hope you are having a great week.

  7. I love your old navy finds, esp that white sleeveless shirt. I love summer. I really hate winter clothes. I mostly hate jeans, so I really only have one pair of pants that I wear in the winter that aren't sweat pants. Summer I have so many choices: dresses, shorts, etc. I just love getting summer clothes.

I LOVE hearing from you!! Thanks for taking the time to leave sweet comments; I enjoy reading every one of them.
