I've been using
All Free and Clear for months
but
I recently started noticing that Olive's clothes are not as bright and colorful after a few washes. They seem to fade and look well worn after just a few wears. I think that this detergent does get them really clean and fresh smelling. My only complaint is COLOR FADING!
Do you have a favorite detergent?

I make my own detergent! It's super easy, and I don't notice my clothes getting any more dingy/color faded that any of the store bought stuff. Plus, it's cheaper, which is always nice when you're trying to stretch your dollars a little farther.

I do this too. I don't add the OxyClean or Purex Crystals, though. Will have to try it sometime! I have used Method laundry soap (love their dispensers) and Honest (mail order - have you seen their diapers? oh so cute!) in the past and liked them. They are pretty mild soaps but I think they work plenty well.
