The Highlights

Our week is wrapping up with much anticipation.  My in laws are coming in town for a visit this weekend.  The weather is slated to be PERFECT and we are going to pack as much fun into our days as possible.  Olive has no clue what's going on, but I'm sure she's will quickly adjust to all the extra attention.  We had a great week and are looking forward to a great weekend.

1. I've been on the hunt for a plaid blanket scarf since last season and I FINALLY found one!  It was $17 at Target.  It basically matches everything, is really soft and it isn't too huge.  They also had a red version.  Definitely run to Target and pick one up for yourself if you're the blanket scarf wearing type.

2. My family went to our favorite local donut shop after church and I just HAD to try the bacon topped maple glazed donut.  It was as delicious as it sounds.  Crunchy bacon... yummmm!

3. The weather has been lovely in Mississippi all week.  The clouds were just begging to be photographed every time I stepped outside.  So were the little green geckos :)

 4. I've always loved GAP and had great luck at their outlet stores.  I've decided that I might love their girl department more than the women's.  I bought this gingham top for Olive on a super sale months ago and I decided it was time for her to wear it this week.  Sidenote: never pay full price for things at GAP :)  She looked adorable and my hubby asked if I bought it in multiple colors and sizes so she could continue to wear it as she gets older.  He's a keeper :)  I've already done her laundry so she can wear it again this weekend.  Maybe to the pumpkin patch?!?!

 5. I tried several new recipes this week and they were tasty!!
BOTH were delicious and BOTH will definitely be made again :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  6. That donut. It looks so good! Is it weird to eat meat on a pastry like that? I don't know if that would gross me out or not.

  13. I really really love the Gap outlet. I can always find something there. Same for the Banana Outlet but oddly I'm never successful in the actual store.
