Lately,
I've been reading...
by Emily P. Freeman
It's a sweet book to remind you that you should strive to share your spiritual gifts with those around you and worry less about perfection, pride and fear. This book has been pretty popular this year and I found it a bit of a slow read. I enjoyed it overall, but it wasn't quite what I expected.
I've been doing this Bible Study with the ladies at my church
by Lisa Harper
I'm enjoying it, but wish that the study was a bit more organized and flowed better.
I'm anxious to start Love Does by Bob Goff and Gone with the Wind!!
Olive's been reading:
Her favorite picture books of all time
- she LOVES all of the board books
-she has 4 of them and I didn't realize there were SO MANY more of the board book variety.
The rhyming, silly pictures and familiarity get her every time.
by Lucado, Frazee & Hill
It's a children's book that tells the life story for Jesus. The story is sweet, accurate and has lovely illustrations. I've always enjoyed the picture books that Max Lucado has written so I had high expectations for this one. It doesn't compare to his other children's books (You are Special, You are Mine, and If Only I had a Green Nose), but it is an enjoyable read with kids. It's a great addition to my daughter's Christmas picture book library.
*I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review of it.
I'm also hoping to win the Freshly Picked moccasin giveaway that Katrina from Cedars and Tiny Flowers is hosting right now!! Olive NEEDS a new pair of mocs in her signature GOLD color.
We love the Llama, Llama books at our house!
