Sweet Shot Tuesday

I'm linking up with Darcy at Sweet Shot Tuesday
again this week.
Here are my best shots of the week:
I challenge you to take more pictures than you did last week :)

REAL Christmas Tree

Christmas in the Heilman household involved lots of artificial Christmas trees.
Christmas in the Jordan household involved one real tree.

Naturally there was a dilemma when we got married.
We got an artificial tree for our first Christmas
and went on to use it for five years.

Last year, Kevin convinced me we should just go and look at real trees.
I went to the tree lot
and was SOLD!
We got our first real tree.
Tune in later this week to see our tree for this year!

Magic Marshmallow Puffs

Do you ever have left overs of an ingredient that you are trying to get rid of?
I seemed to have an abundance of large marshmallows lately.
Then I remembered this recipe that my mom used to make:
Magic Marshmallow Puffs
You just need a few ingredients:
1 tube of crescent rolls
cinnamon & sugar
1/4 c melted butter
1 large marshmallow for each crescent roll
 Dunk marshmallow in melted butter
Roll butter coated marshmallow into cinnamon/sugar mixture until well coated.
Start with small end of crescent roll triangle and roll up.
Be sure to pinch all sides closed.
Put in a greased pan, pour remaining butter on top and sprinkle cinnamon/sugar on top.
 Optional: Top with chopped pecans
Bake until marshmallow melts or about 10 minutes.
 Easy breakfast :)
Thanks for the recipe mom :)

Genius Idea...

I recently read a great idea about how to organize your measuring spoons
on The Tiny Twig and I quickly jumped on board.
Instead of having to dig around in your silverware drawer to find a measuring spoon,
put them in a lidless glass jar so they are all in one spot!
Genius I tell you :)
I have five sets of spoons to try and keep track of.
It easily fits in your cabinet too!
This is how I've always organized my measuring cups.
My Pampered Chef giant mixing bowl is the perfect spot to house them.
Now they are both in very similar containers and easy to use.

Thanksgiving for Cats

Everyone likes to celebrate the holidays.
Here's how my cats celebrated:
Topher distracted Oliver so he could move in on his turkey.
 Topher got what he wanted...
Mmmmmm Mmmmm Good :)
