CARAMEL APPLE CRISP
It's such an easy recipe that your kids could definitely help you with this one.
Olive was my apple taster and stirrer.
Recipes serves 5
2 large apples - one peeled & one with the peeling
caramel candies - any kind of caramel will do
1/2 c brown sugar
3T flour
1/2 c quick cooking oatmeal
1 t cinnamon
4 T butter
Vanilla Bean Ice cream
Cut and peel apples.
Combine all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Cut in cold butter to dry mixture.
Spread out the caramel on the apples.
Top with dry ingredients and mix around a bit.
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly.
Let cool and serve.
This looks sooooo yummy and easy enough even I could make it :) Will have to try!!
