Weekly Wrap Up

It's been a l-o-n-g week at my house... not really sure why, but I'm thankful that the weekend is in sight!!  I'm looking forward to having my hubby home and watching some football, relaxing, and maybe visiting a pumpkin patch :)

The best parts of the week were...

1. We got to go to the Mississippi State Fair this week

and I discovered something called Funnel Cake FRIES!!

They were delicious.

We avoided the rides, ate some fair food and stopped in the petting zoo.

2. We went to our local outlet malls on Sunday - 

Great deals at GAP outlet - I'm loving neutrals for Fall :)

and Carter's was having 20% off their clearance so Olive hit the baby jackpot.

3. I have a sweet neighbor - Maybelle - that I invited over for a Pie Date one afternoon.  She's in her 70s and we have become good friends.  She said she'd love to come so I made her favorite pecan pie.  We had a nice visit, Olive was entertaining and she said, "Your pecan paaaaaaa was delightful, Darlin"  Made my day!!

4. I've started going to MOPS and am really enjoying it.  It's a group for Mother's of Preschoolers and it meets twice a month at our church.  It's nice to meet other moms with young kids, have a devotional time together, do a project or a craft and eat some good food.  I won the door prize this week which was a journal and I was happy with how my first nail art turned out.

5. I made several yummy treat this week - 

chocolate chip cookies to share with my neighbors

& a delicious Caramel Apple Crisp
