I Want to Be a Party Planner

I love planning parties!

I love everything about it...
designing the invitations
gathering the supplies
making the lists
planning the menu
shopping for decorations
decorating
baking
cooking
hosting

It's ALL fun... well maybe not the part where you ask people to RSVP and they don't.  It's always awkward to track down those non-RSVPers :)  I have hosted tons of baby showers, wedding showers and love planning birthday parties for my children.  I love to include them in the planning and pick a theme that goes along with their current favorites.  I don't break the bank with our parties and love to find a good deal or DIY as much as I can.  I have started making our invitations, love to find party supplies at The Dollar Tree, Target, Amazon & Wal-Mart.

Throwing a darling party on a budget that everyone enjoys is always my goal.

I'm currently working on a dinosaur themed 1st birthday party for my son in March
and we are brainstorming ideas for my daughter's 4th birthday in May.

Do you enjoy throwing parties???

  1. I love planning parties too!! I love hosting as well, but my husband isn't a big fan. Ha ha! I love that everyone signs a book for each party. That's awesome! We sign Happy Birthday to You each year for our kids.

  6. meeee tooooo! I love doing parties and fantasize about making a career out of it often. Major downside: event planners can't avoid evening and weekend work. Boo. You throw fabulous parties, I can't wait to see Fletch's!

  8. So many cute ideas! I personally hate planning parties, but that's because between my 4 kids, I've planned 30 parties. I'm over it! Haha!

  9. You do such a great job at making everything so personalized. I think you should be a party planner because you are so good at it. You think of the best details that make it extra special. I do not enjoy party planning so we need people like you to make things much easier on us that do not have the gift of party planning. I really enjoyed looking back at all the fun parties you have planned!

  11. You would be an amazing party planner! I do think it's fun when it isn't your party, but sometimes planning them out for yourself or your kids can be a little stressful (or at least I think so). You'd rock at it, though!
