Happy Friday!

We had a good week at our house and I'm excited for the weekend... forecast of rain, family time and football!!  Seems like the perfect Fall weekend to me :)

The best parts of my week were...

1. We are getting settled into our house nicely.  Each week another area of the house is starting to feel like home.  My workspace was that area this week.  Yes, the toy tornado follows me all over the house.

 2. We headed to Indiana to see our families last weekend.  It was an uneventful 17 hour road trip (which really is the best kind with a little one).  We packed a lot into just a few days.  Olive had tons of fun with her cousins, seeing great grandparents and the grandmarazzi :)

3. We woke up to donuts from a local bakery!  I've grown to love donuts as I've gotten older.  I rarely buy them so it was a fun treat.  I also had my first bowl of chili this season.  It was delicious and the perfect meal for our football filled weekend.

4. My in-laws backyard is still under construction since they just finished building their house.  I was so excited to see a field full of flowers on this visit.  I knew I wanted to take Olive out for some pictures!!  She wanted to pick every flower and had fun posing for pictures.   She was all decked out in her Notre Dame gear and we won so it was a great weekend for everyone.

 5. It seems like eyebrows are all the rage right now.  I'd never tried any eyebrow pencils or eyebrow gel.  My sister is a fan so she brought hers over for me to try.  The top picture is my BEFORE and the bottom is my AFTER.  I was surprised at the difference and definition.  I'm going to have to pick up some eyebrow makeup to add to my routine.  Do you have favorite eye brow products to recommend?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  1. Fun times! I'm so ready for a bowl of chili, that one looks perfect with fritos and cheese! I just use an eyebrow pencil from Covergirl, but I've heard good things about ELF's eyebrow kit. I hope to try that out soon. Have a lovely weekend!

  2. I pencil my brows in every day. I look like I have one long forehead without them! I keep it simple with a Cover Girl pencil and a bit of clear mascara. They look great!

  4. I need serious eyebrow assistance. Someone needs to tell me what to buy! I have almost zero eyebrows and they're really blonde, so they need a lot of help.

Where did y'all go in IN? I have tons of family there and we make the trip about once a year or so :) It's only 8-9 hours for us though.

  5. Man oh man!!! Chili already? Jealous! That is a Fall must do. My favorite eyebrow tool is the Milani Easy brow (CVS sells Milani products). Pencil on one end, comb/spoolie thingy on the other. Then I set it with some clear brow gel! Your eyebrows look fantastic as is, but its amazing what a little eyebrow spiff-up will do. Have a fabulous, rainy, football-filled weekend :)

  6. I use Anastasia eyebrow gel - it has a steady hold without feeling too thick or slimy!

  9. Your workspace is adorable! Donuts are amazing as well. And eyebrow pencils make all the difference! I recommend just buying a cheap pencil from L'Oreal or Maybelline. The brand isn't important, but matching your color is. So long as you find one that matches, you're good to go:)
