Hello Friday!!

We are wrapping up our last week in Arkansas
and trying to squeeze in as much fun as possible.

1. We had a wonderful July 4th.  We grilled out, hung out with friends and enjoyed the unseasonably cool Arkansas weather.  Olive was scared of the fireworks so we snuggled close and stay far away from the big shows.

2. My husband and I wolfed down a whole plate of these delicious cookies this week!  Peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and pretzels -I should probably blog about this recipe because they were so tasty.

3. We are up to our eyeballs in boxes, packing supplies and more boxes.  The cats are loving the new obstacle course that our house has turned into but it's making me slightly neurotic.  Olive is also enjoying the new climbing surfaces.  Good thing the moving truck gets here on Saturday.  I'm excited to have some family coming in town to help us move and help with the "kids" (Olive - age 1 and two cats).

4. We have been eating smoothies on a daily basis to stay cool.
Lots of berries, frozen bananas and chia seeds.
What's your favorite smoothie recipe??

5. My husband turned 33 this week!
We had tons of fun celebrating him.
I loved his polka-dotty candles (on clearance for $1.50 at Wal-mart right now!)
and his cake turned out great!!
Oh and Olive was very anxious to help daddy unwrap his gifts.
My Finish This statements of the week:
For July 4th, I celebrated by...
cooking out with friends and enjoying perfect weather.
Oh and also protecting my one year old who was very afraid of fireworks.
My go to cosmetic product is...
mascara.  Couldn't live without Covergirl Super Thick Lash.
(check back later on today for a full post on my make up regime)
I am inspired by...
kind people who think of others before themselves.
The best relationship advice I received was...
 always talk.

When no one is around, I tend to...
bite my nails.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
