Kevin found a great deal through Groupon for us to stay at
The Alexis Park Resort while we were in Vegas.
It was right off of the strip and seemed like the perfect place to stay for this trip.
Let me give you a little tour of our room:
Family room downstairs, bedroom upstairs.
The couch was a sofa bed so you could really sleep 4 people
because there was also a half bath downstairs.
I headed upstairs to check out the bedroom
and much to my surprise I saw a jacuzzi on in the stairway!!
Odd location for sure...
Good thing they had a railing up around it so
you wouldn't accidentally fall into the tub while
walking DOWN THE STAIRS!
Back to the tour...
king sized bed and fireplace for winter
because Las Vegas gets so chilly :)
Walking back down the stairs...
You could greet guests at the door from your tub!
Weird...
Our view
The resort had three pools.
They were all lovely and not crowded :)
Here's the entrance:
(right next to the Hard Rock Hotel)
within sight of The Strip
and right next to the airport.
We saw planes landing all the time but
never heard the planes once we were in our room.
So overall this resort is great if you have a car
(although they do provide a shuttle service),
don't mind staying at a slightly older resort,
want a quiet, safe place to stay,
and want to be near the strip
but stay in an affordable place.
