Highlights of the Week

It's been a fun week of road trips, family, early birthday celebrations,
lunch dates and happy times.
Here are the highlights:

1. My mom threw me a 32nd birthday party!  I haven't been home for my birthday in 10+ years so it was nice to be with everyone.  My mom let me request the menu too!

 2. Olive loves polka-dots as much as I do - hooray for cute babies!
Oh and she got called a boy three times while wearing this outfit.
People are strange...

 3. I made a pecan pie and added a handful of mini chocolate chips.
It was tasty and pretty :)

 4. I got my flu shot and my arm was sore all day.  I'm hoping that everyone in my house avoids the flu bug this year plus my sister is having a Christmas baby so I don't want to get sick.  Olive is scheduled to get hers after she turns 6 months old and Kevin got his at work.

 5. I've been collecting "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornaments for Olive's tree this year.  I'm so excited to decorate her tiny tree.  However, I am not putting any Christmas up until after Thanksgiving but I'm already planning out my decor.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a great weekend.
