Idioms

What is an idiom?
It's a word or phrase that can not be taken literally.
My students LOVE them.
I got this adorable book to teach my students about Idioms.
You can buy it here: Amazon
Here's what the pages look like:
I gave each child an idiom to illustrate.
They had to write the idiom, illustrate what it is not, what it is
and then write out the meaning of it.
They were really creative and had a lot of fun doing these posters.
They are trying really hard to learn how to correctly incorporate
them into their every day conversations.
