Decorating for St. Patrick's Day

 I didn't grow up celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  It was one of those things that I started paying more attention to when my then boyfriend and I were in college.  He was at Notre Dame and everything Irish was a big deal.  I've joined in the fun and we LOVE celebrating this holiday each year.

{These hand & foot print clovers are from Olive's 1st St. Patrick's Day and will likely always be a very favorite decoration for the holiday}

Going GREEN at home:

 I collected several clover jello molds when we lived in Utah because you know that they sure love their jello.  I always picked them up at the thrift shops and I just love them!

My decorations always have to be toddler proof at kitty proof.  So I keep the non breakable decorations down low enough for Olive to grab and try to put everything else up high.

 I always love updating my chalkboard for each holiday.
Topher loves it too and is always eager to "help" me.

 Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

  1. How cute! I love St. Patrick's Day! I guess it goes along with my love for Notre Dame! Ha! When I was in school, I started to buy some cute St Patty's decorations, but since I live at home, I haven't gotten them out since. I'm looking forward to the day when I can style my own place!

  2. I pinned that hand/foot painting shamrock. It is too cute and I've never seen it before. I think Jack is going to have to make this for this year.
