Kevin was out of town for St. Patrick's Day this year so we celebrated early with him and then did fun girl things on the actual day. I made roast & veggies, brown bread and rainbow salad for our family celebration.
On St. Patrick's Day, we put on our favorite green items and headed to Bible Study. Clearly, Olive was thrilled to take a few pics and wanted you to see her cute new bow - haha. That's a pretty serious mean mug :) I found her a set of two bows for $3 at Wal-Mart!
The teachers in Olive's room adore her and they made a little rainbow shamrock with her. It's adorable and will obviously be one of my favorite decorations to pull out each year.
We did a little grocery shopping and came home to eat a rainbow lunch.
She went straight for the M&Ms.
She was exhausted.
I made a different kind of rainbow lunch for myself.
Then we made chocolate chip cookies with rainbow sprinkles for our neighbors. We headed out to deliver them. Olive was excited to knock on their doors. They'd answer, Olive handed them their treat and she'd say nummy nummy to try to get a bite of their cookies. We rarely leave home without Bun-Bun these days so she tagged along.
We had a great day and have packed away all of our Irish gear until football season rolls around again. Did you do anything fun for St. Patrick's Day with your family??
So cute! I like the idea of a rainbow lunch/snacks. I love Olive's outfit! Too cute!
