Butterfinger Cookies

I made a batch of my favorite Butterfinger Cookies last week and promised to share the recipe with you.  My mom used to make these cookies for us regularly after she found the recipe on the box of Butterfingers.  These cookies so good, easy to make and are a definite crowd pleaser.  I shared them with friends and everyone commented on how good they were. The ones at our house didn't last long either.

 Ingredients:
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c maragarine
1 egg
2 c flour
3/4 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
12 mini Butterfinger candy bars
handful of semi sweet chocolate chips

Beat sugar and butter until creamy.  Add egg and dry ingredients.  Run Butterfingers through a food processor (or hand chop).  Stir in crushed Butterfingers.

Bake at 375 for 11 minutes.  Let cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet.
Let cool a little longer on foil and then drizzle melted chocolate chips with a fork over the top of all the cookies.  Chocolate will set within an hour or so.

These cookies are delicious for several days.  They just get chewier and chewier.
Enjoy!!
What's your favorite cookie recipe?
