8 Make-up Products I Couldn't Live Without

I'm pretty sure that I could not function without these 8 make up products.  I have considered hoarding all of them just in case they were to ever be discontinued. haha

// 1 //
Cover Girl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara
it's really affordable, doesn't shed, looks great all day and I often layer the regular with a finishing coat of waterproof.

// 2 //
Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets
I have used thse for 10ish years and no other oil control sheet works like these do.  I've tried all the store brands and even Starbucks napkins for oil blotting.  They all pale in comparison.

PINK Perfume from Victoria's Secret
 I am picky about perfume and have worn this one for almost 15 years.  It comes in a variety of applicators and I get compliments on it often.  It's not too over powering and I never get tired of it.  I also used to spray it on the snail mail I'd send to my husband when we were in college.

 Dry Shampoo
I wash my hair just a few times a week because I do not have time to go through the whole routine of wash/blowdry/straighten/curl every single day.  I tend to pull out the big guns on day 1 and then refresh the same style for a few days and dry shampoo SAVES ME!!  It saves me time, sanity and makes my getting ready routine so much easier.  My current favorite is $3 a container for Suave dry shampoo.  I've also used Tresemme, but it's trickier to use on dark hair and I felt like it left more residue.  Suave is amazing - do yourself a favor and buy some today!!

bareMinerals Makeup
I told y'all about this about a month ago and it really is the best make-up I've ever used.  It looks great all day, is long lasting and blends perfectly into my skin.  It really feels like you are barely wearing any make up and it goes on so quickly.

Q-tips
I could not, could not do my make up without them.  I am a messy mascara applicator and end up with mascara all around my eyes.  I put it on in a hurry and then clean up with q-tips.  I don't know how people neatly apply mascara.  8th wonder of the world???

// 7 //
Clear Hair Elastics
I love the minimal look of them and they are so easy to use.

Make-Up Remover Wipes
I use these every night and don't really have a favorite brand.  I love them from Target, Wal-Mart and have purchased name brand ones on sale.  It's so nice to just swipe your eyes a few times and remove all the mascara and make up without having to scrub.  I've even purchased them in bulk and handed them out to family and friends.  The individually wrapped ones from La Fresh are PERFECT for traveling.

Are there any make up items that you could not live without?

  1. I am an avid supporter of drug store mascara - I've tried the expensive brands and always come back to my tried and true fave. It's not Cover Girl - it's Maybelline (the Full N Soft). I am terrified that they will do away with it one day and then I will be left with nothing. Eeek! And yes to q-tips! I'm not terrible at putting on mascara, but I definitely need a q-tip to clean things up, or I'll have little black spots here and there. I knew a girl in high school who could literally apply mascara without a mirror. It was like the 8th wonder of the world to me!!!!

  2. I love my Almay intense eyes trio. It is so easy to apply and always lasts all day without creasing. And no matter what, I have to have a brow pencil to fill in the other half of my brows that somehow disappeared after college! :)

  3. I am also a huge fan of Suave dry shampoo and also Pink. Two really great products! My one product that I HAVE to have is cheap black eyeliner from Wal-Mart. The more expensive brands I can't get to go on as easily as the cheap brands. I couldn't use liquid...it would be all over the place.

  4. Oh gosh, those oil absorbing sheets are such a life saver. I use them a lot during the summer, they keep me from looking like an oil slick! Also, the Suave dry shampoo is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE product. I use it everyday, even if my hair is clean. It gives my fine hair some texture and a little volume boost. Thanks for linking up with us!

  7. What great items! I need to invest in some oil blotting sheets, because, DANG. And I didn't know Suave made a dry shampoo! I use Batiste, but you have to go to beauty stores to get it... and I live in the middle of nowhere, so that's not really an option. Makeup wipes are the BEST. I completely agree on their practicality!
