Tuesday Talk: Banana Pudding

It makes me so happy to be home and working in a fully functioning kitchen again!  I've found most of my essential things and am enjoying baking in my new kitchen.  I found my recipe for Banana Pudding the other day and realized I hadn't made it in years.  It isn't my hubby's favorite dessert so I usually try to make it for social functions :)

It's tasty and feels like the perfect summer dessert.
Banana Pudding

I originally found my recipe on all recipes,
and made several changes to my taste.

Ingredients
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3.4 oz box of instant vanilla pudding
3.4 oz box of instant banana cream pudding
4 cups cold milk
8 oz cool whip
4 bananas
1 box mini vanilla wafers

Prepare pudding as directed on boxes and let chill in fridge.

Beat cream cheese until smooth, add in sweetened condensed milk and pudding.
Mix until well combined.

Let chill for a few hours or overnight.
Layer the dessert - wafers, banana slices and pudding.
I did two sets of layers in a 9x13 pan,
but it would also work in a trifle bowl.

Let chill for several hours and serve.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, freshly sliced bananas and a few Vanilla Wafers.

  2. I've never made banana pudding but I love it! My MIL often makes a batch for family dinners. So glad you're able to bake and cook again! I know the feeling. :)
