August Goals


I'm always excited to start out a new month with a new set of goals.  I try to include fun things and practical things to complete for the month.  We are wrapping up summer, Kevin's starting a new job and we are going to be settling into life in Indiana.  That means a new church, new friends, new restaurants, new places and lots of exploring.  Wish us luck!!

AUGUST 2015 GOALS:

1. Mail out new address cards
2. Finishing changing our address for bills, magazines, etc.
3. Throw a baby shower
4. Go to the Indiana State Fair for the first time!
5. Finish decorating Olive's room
6. Try 2 new recipes
7. Find new doctors, vets, dentists in Indiana
8. Start visiting churches to find our new church home
9. Attend a Welcome to ISU party in our honor
10. Finish decorating and setting up Kevin's office
11. Finalize our travel plans to meet up with friends in Aug & Sept
12. Go for walks as often as possible in the evenings
13. Read 2 books
14. Make cookies for our new neighbors

I'm really looking forward to settling into life and our new routine this month.

  1. Sounds like you'll be busy settling in and having some fun this month! I would like to go to the State Fair myself! Its the Year of the Farmer & I have some special farmers in my life. Would be a cool thing to see!

  2. So much busy work with settling in a new home. Praying you guys find a new church soon. I know just how hard and exhausting looking can be. We've been on the hunt for a few months now.
