We had a fabulous 1st grade teacher retiring at the end of the year
so we hosted an open house for her.
She's been teaching for 35 years and it was fun to celebrate her career.
She requested a Dr. Seuss theme.
There were tables filled with scrapbook pages for people to sign.
A station to autograph Seuss hats.
We provided refreshments too.
The teacher guest of honor dressed up in as the Cat in the Hat!
We invited parents, our faculty and former faculty.
A good time was had by all.
We also had a gift table so people could drop off their cards and small gifts.
She loves elephants so I found these great elephant serving dishes at World Market.
Aren't they cute??
