Olive's 1st Christmas

We had a great Christmas that included multiple celebrations.
We celebrated with our little family on the 23rd since we'd be traveling on the 24th.
We opened gifts and Olive wanted to eat the wrapping paper. She seemed kind of overwhelmed by all of the chaos.  We mostly opened her gifts for her and she tried to eat anything that was within her reach.

Kevin had to work on Christmas Eve so we headed out of town ASAP after work around 2:30pm.  Olive was hoping to spot Santa on our drive.  We made the 7 hour drive without any problems and settled in at my parent's house.
We had to wake her up to go to Christmas breakfast at Kevin's parent's house
and she crashed shortly after we ate.
We got to see siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
We had lunch with Kevin's side and then headed back to my parent's house.
Olive was taking everything in and wasn't quite sure what to make of all the excitement.
She's the baby of the cousins so was trying to figure everything out.
My parent's house looked so pretty & my mom made a delicious dinner.

The morning after Christmas, I found Olive like this:
 Christmas is exhausting!

We got to see several friends but didn't take any pictures.  Guess we were too busy catching up :)
Our visit was shorter than usual because of Kevin's work schedule.  I kind of miss his days as a student with three weeks off around Christmas.

We got to meet my newest nephew - Austin -
my brother, sister and me all holding the baby.

Our visit went by too quickly and we wish we could have seen a few more people but we'll have to wait until our next visit home.
