Happy 7th Birthday Fletcher!

Our favorite middle guy turns 7 just before lunch time today.  It seems like just yesterday that our almost 10lb baby was born looking way more like a toddler than an infant.  He's been a busy guy ever since.  His birthday lands right in the middle of his Spring Break this year!  We've had a ton of fun so far and he's got lots of birthday fun happening all week long.

 

7 Reasons to Love Fletcher:

1. Fletcher is the biggest foodie of the family.  He's always adding things to my grocery list.  Loves a pickle or anything spicy.  He'll ask you to try a bite if your plate looks delicious.  He's eager to learn how to bake with me and is always complimenting my food.  He's so much fun to cook for and enjoys food more than anyone I know.  He gets a twinkle in his eye when he's eating something delicious.  He shrugs his shoulders and says, "What!?!  I'm a foodie!"

2. Fletch is really sensitive.  He loves people and loves animals so much.  He rescues creatures in our neighborhood, catching critters in our creek and Penny loves his more than anyone else.  He worries about his friends and his animals a lot.

3. Fletcher loves a countdown.  Nothing makes him happier than counting down the days to his birthday, to vacation or to anything fun.

4. He makes noises 24/7.  You'll hear him singing, talking in funny voices, snapping, clapping, dancing or making noise every waking hour.

5. Fletcher loves to help me organize.

6. Fletcher is really brave.  Sign him up for the wave rider.  Put him in line for the biggest water slide.  Or show him your roller blades and he wants to give them a go!

7. He is a homebody.  He loves nothing more than staying home and playing.  Unless you mentioned an arcade and then he wants to go to the arcade.
