Happy Friday! I'm excited for the weekend and looking forward to celebrating Father's Day. We are not traveling to see family this weekend, but are hoping to enjoy a fun Father's Day at home. I gave Kevin a long list of options for things we could do this weekend and he's picking what we do. Should be lots of fun!!
The highlights of our week were:

Cookies & Plaid Plates
My Dad and some family friends came up to work on the house this week. Tons of projects are coming together and I baked some festive cookies to thank them. They loved the cookies and I love anything holiday themed. I picked up these plaid plates at Meijer this week and LOVE them! They're so bright and cheery. I think they'll be perfect for our summer meals and they were less than $3 a plate.

Salads!!
I made some delicious salads this week! A copycat Olive Garden Salad, a Chicken Fajita salad from leftovers we had from a fajita dinner and a veggie packed salad. I need to head to the store this weekend to stock up on salad fixins so that I'm ready to eat salads all next week.

Floral Sandals
I'm loving the Birkenstock trend, but can't justify the price tag Birks. So when I found these floral Unionbay knock offs at Marshalls I knew I had to have them. They were $16.99 and are so comfy. I wear them all the time and love having cute sandals to slip on.

House Projects!
My Dad, friends, brother in law and Kevin have been working hard on the house. They made several trips up to work this week. Our "driveway tree" is long gone, we discovered a cherry tree in our yard, we hung the new bathroom mirror and the kitchen is almost move in ready :) Lots of progress and we should be able to move into the house in just a couple of weeks!!

Cute Kid Moments
Olive is loving dressing up as a princess these days. She'll quietly slip into her room and come out as a princess. It's sweet to see her using her imagination. Topher was curious about this princess in our midst so he was keeping a close eye on her
Fletcher turned 11 weeks old and is getting so big. He loves being inside when it's HOT out so this picture is of him chillaxing in the AC after running errands all morning. Sweet boy :)

Do you have any fun plans in the works??
We're looking forward to a fun Father's Day weekend - brunch, playing outside, working on the house and letting Kevin pick what he wants to do.
