Tuesday Talk: Hooray Mail!

Olive and I recently got the opportunity to try out Hooray Mail!  The founder, Katie, contacted me about giving their monthly snail mail service for kids a try and I knew I had to say YES.  She has two little kids and loves snail mail so she created the Hooray Mail company to fill the snail mail void.  You all know that I'm a huge snail mail fan and Olive always loves getting things addressed to her in the mail.  So we signed up and got two fun activities in June.

Olive was so excited to get mail addressed to her.
Card #1 had a FARM theme.
We did these activities together and she loved them.
She went on to sing Old McDonald Had a Farm for the rest of the day.

Card #2 had an OCEAN theme

We did this together and she had so much fun doing the search and find.  She didn't need much help with this one.  We got to talk about a lot of the things we did on vacation while we were working on this card.  It was a really good conversation starter.

PROS:
The cards are personalized for each child.
There is a fun activity to do together with your child.
It's the perfect spring board to do more with your kids - ask questions, read books, and do things based on the theme of the card.

CONS:
We wish there were more than two cards a month because we had a great time doing them together.

I think this would be a fun service for grandparents, aunts, uncles or family friends to purchase for their favorite kids in their lives.  Olive really enjoyed it and continues to look over and talk about her cards weeks later.

You can go to Hooray Mail's website to read more about their subscription options.

It's time to link up with my favorite ladies and we have some new hosts joining our team.
Be sure to check them out and say hello to Justine, Liz and Meghan!!
Link up your best posts from the week.

  2. This is such a great idea! My mom used to sometimes mail my sister and I little letters so we could receive mail, too. I love that a company does this now!
