Tune back in tomorrow for the recipe & details :)

2. This statement necklace and an accompanying mustard outfit
arrived in my mailbox this week.
I can't wait to wear this piece!!

 3. Turns out that there IS a cure for Shingles...
adorable get well soon basket from a sweet friend.
 A polka-dotted pumpkin!?!?!
I'm feeling healed already.

 4. Found my first yummy peaches of the season.
I'm in the market for a fresh peach pie recipe.
Do you have one you'd like to share??

5. I had a great teacher moment this week.

I had prepared myself to deal with a really hard student this year.
I'd been warned by his previous teachers
but I didn't let their Debbie Downer attitude cloud my optimism
that we were going to have a good year together.

I figured out that this little boy LOVES to feel needed and likes to help out.
So I came up with a list of jobs that I needed his help with each day.
He seemed to be in heaven.
Smiles from ear to ear, very complimentary e-mails from his parents
and to top it off:
I asked him to do one extra job for me and he said,
"I'd do ANYTHING for you, Mrs. Jordan!"
I think this is going to be a great year for both of us.

I also found this note tucked into my teacher planner from him:
#ilovemyjob
