Rhyolite

Ever heard of Rhyolite?
It's a ghost town between Vegas and Death Valley.
It is in the middle of nowhere.
Founded in 1905 with the gold rush out west;
it peeked with a population of nearly 8,000 a few years later.
It was basically a ghost town by 1920.
Driving through town.
 Railroad Dept & Casino
 Looking down from the casino.
 The Cook Bank Building
 The Mercantile
 The school.
It had an enrollment of 28-250 students
and was the last major building project in the city.
It was used for a meeting place in town too.
 Bottle house.
There were originally 3 build here and only 1 is still around.
It was refurbished in 2005.
