How Would You Describe Yourself?

My students have been learning about adjectives.

I had them draw a self portrait with colored pencils

and then make a web of true adjectives and phrases about themselves.

Here was my example, loosely based on my brother :)

 This is one of my favorite writing projects we have done lately.

The kids drew themselves perfectly and put in so much detail.

I learned new things about each of them!
