Are you a Wal-Mart shopper??
I am a proud one. I shop mostly at Wal-Mart and Meijer with the occasional stop at Kroger and Sams. I have been really impressed with Wal-Mart lately. They've really stepped things up in the home decor department, I love their kid shoes, women's clothes/workout gear and accessories. My store also has beautiful flowers and I have no trouble strolling around finding things I want to buy.
Here are some of my latest finds:
JELLIES/KID SHOES
I have been hearing rave reviews of these $4.97 jellies for little girls and I had to see them for myself! My store had them in pink and clear so I bought one pair of each for my daughter. She LOVES them (they're comfy, cute and she can put them on herself!) and - bonus - she gets compliments on them wherever we go. They're a great knock off to much pricier little girl shoes like Mini Melissa type shoes. These come in baby sizes all the way up to 12.
I was tempted to buy these coral rain boots for Olive. She is a big fan of rain boots and I was a big fan of the style & price. I love the look of Hunter rain boots, but just can't justify that kind of money on kid shoes. These boots would be a great alternative and they aren't $60. Wal-Mart also some some really cute mary jane tennis shoe options.
GALVANIZED METAL EVERYTHING
I'll take one of each, please! The summer aisles have me swooning with all of the picnic items, outdoor dining options and pretty serving pieces. The most expensive item were the buckets at the bottom for $14.97. Most things were under $10. What a steal!!
FLOWERS
I always pick up flowers for parties at Wal-Mart. They have tons of options of bouquets for $4.87 and a dozen roses for under $9.99. Aren't those purple ones gorgeous?? I bought them for Olive's 3rd birthday party last year and they were so pretty.
SUCCULENTS:
These huge planters were either $10-12. They had tons of options big and small so I'd definitely check Wal-Mart if you're looking to add to your succulent collection. My garden center had some inside and these were outside. We're hoping to head back to Wal-Mart this weekend to buy some plants for our yard. Happy Mother's Day to me :)
SUNNIES:
The $10 rack of sunglasses was full of cute options right now. These were really pretty on and I loved several of the rose gold options. I didn't purchase any because my favorites didn't fit my head very well. I'm hoping to check back in a few weeks to see if there are any that I love.
What have you found at Wal-Mart lately??
I found those same jelly shoes and grabbed some for Emmy! They are awesome and much cheaper than the Mini Melissa.
ReplyDeleteSo many cute shoes! I love seeing kids wearing jelly shoes. I used to wear them when I was young!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great finds!! Why can't they make jellies in my size? #seriously
ReplyDeleteIf you take the time to explore, you'll discover that WalMart has a lot of great things that won't break the bank.
ReplyDeleteI always get in trouble when I go to Wal-Mart! They do have a lot of good things for a good price.
ReplyDeleteThose jelly shoes! I absolutely love them. I got the coral pair for my youngest, but I am on the hunt for the teal, they were out of them in her size!
ReplyDeleteWalmart has some really great things =)
If I had a girl, I'd definitely snag those jellies! I need to check out the succulents next time I'm there.
ReplyDeleteI love all things galvanized too! I need to check out those succulents!
ReplyDeleteLove the finds! I love Wal-Mart. I avoid the super stores a lot but I do love to browse them. I also love the smaller grocery ones and shop there more often than the big ones.
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds. I wished I liked WalMart more.. but our local one is just horrible.
ReplyDeleteI'm an avid Walmart shopper! I alway get Jack a brown pair of sandals from Walmart each supper. I actually buy two, one for nice clothes and the other for playing outside. You can find cheap books at Walmart and they have their Easter/spring books on clearance for half price. Our Walmart has a whole aisle of just clearance stuff. Some items have small scratches or something missing from the pack. I love looking through that aisle.
ReplyDeleteI wish those jellies came in big girl sizes too- because I know all 3 of my girls would love a pair!! I have seen those rain boots at my Walmart- and they really are so sturdy and great quality! You know how much I love Walmart...it's so fun to be able to find fun, cute, NICE things at a price point that is affordable for the majority of people!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds! I especially can't believe the price on those buckets! I'm a die-hard Target shopper, but I need to check Walmart more!
ReplyDeleteI have a galvanized metal tray and use it to take things places ALL the time. It is the perfect way to transport casserole dishes or plate loads of cookies. I recently bought Emily some pink rain boots offline for 9.87
