I tried some yummy cookies this weekend and knew I needed to share the recipe with you. They were simple to make and it's one of those great recipes that use things I ALWAYS keep stocked in my patnry.
We love all things OATMEAL so I figured these cookies would be a hit. I found the original recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction for Chewy Oatmeal M&M Cookies and made a few changes. Her recipe goes into lots of details about each step so click over there to read specifics.

We love all things OATMEAL so I figured these cookies would be a hit. I found the original recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction for Chewy Oatmeal M&M Cookies and made a few changes. Her recipe goes into lots of details about each step so click over there to read specifics.
Here's the recipe I used:
Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies:
1/2 c margarine room temp
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
2 t vanilla
1 2/3 c oats
1 c flour
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/2 c mini m&ms
1/2 chocolate chips
Bake at 325 for 10 minutes.
They were best right out of the oven and ended up being a fluffy oatmeal cookie.
The recipe makes about two dozen cookies.
I've also asked my friends to share some of their best cookie recipes with you today.
Hope you can find a new cookie recipe or two to try :)

ReplyDeleteThese look so yummy! Thanks for including my links friend.
ReplyDeleteI have everything for these but the mini M&M's. They look delicious and I'm also up for a afternoon of baking and enjoying the fruits of my labor.
ReplyDeleteI love cookies! We made quite a few different ones in December. Our go to cookies are chocolate chip with something added like candy or sprinkles. Jack LOVES to bake. He asks me all the time if we can make Christmas tree cookies again. I'm already looking forward to making our heart sugar cookies in February.
ReplyDeleteOMG, those cookies: delish! Plus they look so pretty and would be perfect for Valentine's day. Happy 2017 Whitney! Come join my linkup every Thursday!
