The Best

We had a busy week so things flew by for us and we're looking forward to the weekend.  No big plans so we are hoping to rest, relax and take it easy.

The best parts of my week were...

1. I made these dark chocolate bites for a treat this week and they were so easy and really tasty.  I think I'm going to make some to give out for Valentine's Day next week.

  2. I had a great week of eating well and eating COLORFUL meals.  This salad was a favorite and really easy to throw together for lunch.  Now I just have to keep my fridge stocked with healthy things :)

3.  I finished decorating our house for Valentine's Day
and am doing a post later this morning with DIY directions
for my favorite Valentine's Day garlands.

4. I'm blazing through Lara Casey's new book Make it Happen.  She's so inspiring and I've loved getting to know her better by reading her story.  It's definitely a book that makes you think about living life on purpose with continuous reminders that God is in control.

5. Olive ran a fever for several days this week and I'm happy to report that she's feeling MUCH better.  She was extra snuggly (no complaints from me) and entertained herself by trying on shoes.  She'd bring me a pair and say SHOE ON, I'd put the shoes on her feet, then she'd stand up and say CUTE!  Little girls are so much fun.

Hope you have a great weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  4. I love your wreath! I have always wanted to buy one but they are EXPENSIVE! And then I was ambitious and thought I'd make one but, yeah, it didn't look like that. Super crafy fail. Happy Friday and have a great weekend!
