Leo just turned 3 months old last week! It's the strangest thing - those months have flown by and dragged on at the very same time. It seems like he's been a part of our family forever. He's the sweetest, snuggliest, most loved little guy.
I collected my favorite pictures and moments from the last three months for the post today. Bloggy baby book :)
Leo // 1 month
You had a pretty quiet first month of life thanks to COVID. We only left the house to take you to doctor's appointments and FaceTimed with family. You only met Mimi & Papaw, celebrated your first Easter, hit the 9lb mark, eat a mix of formula and nurse and you like to pee everywhere.
We did your newborn pictures at home, have to trim your nails really frequently and you are so sweet to nap anywhere. Olive and Fletcher adore you. You get zero alone time; someone is there to attend to your every need. You are a good sleeper. Dad and I take turns waking up with you.
Leo // 2 months
You pay attention to everything around you. You don't want to miss a thing. We went on our first road trip with you. You did great. You got to meet more family this month. Attended a distance end of the year parade for Olive. Your favorite way to snuggle is with your head under my chin.
The big kids fight over who loves you most, both want to hold you, give you synchronized kisses and both think the world of you. You like to wiggle your hands out of your swaddle, wear 3 month clothing, love to be swaddled and are working hard to roll over. You're starting to pull hair.
You had a hip ultrasound this month to make sure your hips were okay. This is standard for breech babies. The results came in and your hips are perfect. We are still sticking pretty close to home and not taking you out and about much.
Leo // 3 months
You are getting better at making eye contact, you love bath time, you slept through the night and you really like to be outside. You've found your hands and still love your paci. Smiling is your favorite new trick.
You rolled over from tummy to back, have hit the 13lb club, are babbling more and more and let us know that you hated strawberry picking. You talk the most to Olive. We took you to the country club for your first dinner out, and are still undecided what your eye color will eventually be.
You went on your first major trip - a road trip to Naples, Florida. You did amazing! You barely complained during the drive and slept a lot. You loved the warm pool. It was fun to see you master splishing and splashing in the pool.
We are excited for all the milestones headed our way in the coming months.
I really wonder if he's going to look like Fletcher but have Olive's hair and eye color.
