The Highlights

Happy Friday, friends!  Hope you've had a nice week.  We were busy and had lots of fun.  We are excited for the weekend. Kevin's spring break is next week so it'll be fun to have him around more.

The best parts of our week were:

1. Date Night with friends!!
We don't have any family in town so date nights don't happen as often as we'd like.  It gets expensive fast to pay for a babysitter.  I am thankful that we have a sweet sitter that our kids love and always end up thinking we need to do this more often.

 2. Fairy Gardens
Did you see my post earlier this week??  I found THE CUTEST fairy garden supplies at The Dollar Tree.  I spent $30 on the entire project and they had such cute supplies.  I scooped them up for a birthday gift for my almost 5 year old daughter.

3. Leather Earrings
I've been running a fun promotion all week for my new favorite leather earrings.  They're from ADVdesigns and you can read all about them here.  My friend Amber is offering 20% off your purchase when you use the code polkadotty20 through TODAY.  It's the last day of the sale!  I just love so many of her styles.  They're so comfy and so pretty.  Did I mention that they're really affordable??  ADVdesigns etsy shop

4. Cat BFFs
Two is definitely better than one.

5. Day Off
We rarely have a day where we stay home all day now that the kids are getting older.  So it's a real treat to have a pj day or a relaxed day at home.  I know these days are numbered so I get excited when we end up with a blank day on the calendar.

6. Friend Birthdays
One of Olive's best buddies had the cutest art party this week.  She was gifted fairy wings as soon as she walked in, got to paint a beautiful flower garden canvas and had the best time with her buddies.

7. St Patrick's Day Prep
We got St Patrick's Day donuts a couple of times this week.  I also painted a clover door hanger for our front door.

I found the cutest Cat & Jack clover dress for Olive from Target.  It also came in a rainbow pattern.  The flutter sleeve is so pretty and it's a really soft dress.  Click the picture below and it will take you to the Target site to see all the details:

8. Captain Chaos
Fletcher has been so busy lately.  He never stops moving.  He's an amazing climber.  He's wild and seems to have no fear.  He has started throwing big fits when things don't go his way.  It's funny how you kind of just block out those hard memories as your kids get older.  Here's Fletcher making his one phone call from baby jail.  I took him out of story time because he was being wild and he didn't appreciate it.  Then I walked into the playroom to find him standing on top of our play kitchen.  Boys are nuts!!

9. Kid food!
My kids just love eating ice cube tray lunches.  They're fun to make and fun to eat.  They also tend to eat all of their lunch when I serve it this way.

10. Oh Olive
She loves to dress up, loves her baby dolls after ignoring them for the last 4 years and has no shortage of personality and opinions.

Hope you have the best weekend!!
