The Last 18 Weeks...

A little BABY timeline of my last 18 weeks...

Week 5: Oct 1, 2012
Took 2 POSITIVE home pregnancy tests!! 
We are ecstatic!!

Week 6: Oct 8
Baby's 1st flight, first visit to Indiana
& Baby's 1st Notre Dame game
 Week 7: Oct. 15
Feeling nauseous, really tired and allergies are acting up.
It's hard work growing a baby!

Week 8: Oct. 22
Still feeling very sleepy
1st Doctor's appointment & ultrasound
Everything looks great for little jelly bean!  
Baby debuting June 3, 2013
Who knew you could love a little raspberry so much?? 
 












Our painted pumpkin family of 3!!

Week 9: Oct. 29
Baby & Mommy were a box of crayons for Halloween
We voted and got a flu shot this week
I went in for the dreaded glucose test - everything checked out great.
Craving fruits and candy - NO MEAT!

Week 10: Nov. 5
We stayed in a lot this week because we got 2ft of snow
We've been watching a lot of ND football
We hosted book club this week













Week 11: Nov. 12
Happy 31st Birthday to me; my happiest birthday to date!
Met with a new allergy specialist to get things lined out
Getting harder to hide...
 
Week 12: Nov. 19
The stomach flu attacked our household this week.
Both Mom and Dad were down for the count.
The doctor assured us you were fine with a healthy 171 heartbeat.
According to the very reliable Chinese Gender calculator - it's a GIRL!
My regular pants are getting snug...

Week 13: Nov. 26
We went to get our Christmas Tree this week!
I'm having to work a little harder to cover the baby bump 
so that I can keep my secret a little longer.
Dresses are the most comfy thing.

Week 14: Dec. 3
We did my holiday art show this week!
Book club/cookie exchange with friends.
Our Christmas cards had the message:
It's the little things that matter most.  So true!













Baby got a stocking this year



Week 15: Dec. 10
Christmas parties galore!
Squeezing into my skinny jeans. 





Week 16: Dec. 17
Gender peek appointment.
Both Mom & Dad predict GIRL


You look like a real baby now!!
head, spine and legs



First attempt: you were rolled into a ball with no hope of seeing anything.
Drank water & ate some candy.
Second attempt: much more cooperative, moving tons and the doctor concludes...
she's about 80% sure you are a GIRL!
 Your brothers voted too...

2nd Round of flights home for Christmas
We start spreading the news to our family and close friends!!
The excitement was contagious













Week 17: Dec. 24
An Abundance of Christmas festivities and more baby secrets revealed!
Got caught up on sleep and ate a lot!
The bump is growing...
My first pair of maternity pants!






















Week 18: Dec. 31
Mom had a cold this week
Time to tell all of our Utah friends/coworkers/students
People were SO sweet and happy for us!!

We are really thankful for such a fun and happy time for our family.

  1. I've been waiting for this post! I'm mad at myself for thinking nothing of you having three pumpkins this year, and also not giving any thought to your Christmas cards this year! I missed all the little sneaky hints!! I loved that you let the cats guess the gender too 😀 fun post! I'm going to read through it all again now!

  2. Oh and two more comments... Loved the raspberry in the ultrasound pic! And in the first picture I thought u were holding the pee part of the test sans the caps! Haha! Looking forward to more pregnancy posts!!

  3. LOVE this post! It is really just starting to sink in my brain that you are going to have a baby. I was so unsuspecting!!! Love the ND onesies and love that your baby shoes are in your announcement. Like Haley, I missed all the clues. And to think you are approaching your half way point! So excited to think about this little one. Love you! :) Mom
