 Inspired Accessories from Polka-Dotty Place!!

I've gifted some accessories and filled an order or two so far.

This weekend is my first, big showing of my accessories.

I am teaming up with the ladies of Sweet Repeat

for the first time!!

I've been making earrings and flowers for a while now

with this deadline in mind...

Dangerous Treat

I want to let you in on a little secret... you can make personal sized Rice Krispie bowls that are EASY to throw together.  Put a handful of mini marshmallows in a bowl, a teenie bit of butter and microwave for 35-40 seconds.  Stir immediately to blend the two ingredients and dump in some Rice Krispies.  Stir and enjoy with a spoon.  These Rice Krispie bowls are dangerous because they are no trouble at all to make!  Give them a try sometime :)

Costume Dilemma

Halloween is a BIG deal at my school 

and in all of Utah for that matter.

So naturally my costume must be really good.

I have to come to work in costume and parade around.

So far, I've been a ladybug:

An M&M and a 50s Poodle Skirt Girl

A black cat

A crazy ND fan & a purple haired witch

I'm currently working on my costume  for this year...

and crossing my fingers that my vision works out!

What did you wear this week?
I've enjoyed reading and have been inspired by Lindsey's 

what i wore wednesday posts for months

and have finally gotten on board.

Here's what i wore on our cruise:

1. Dress: Electric blue London Times dress from Marshalls

Clutch: Gold Style & Co from Macys - LOVED this... it matched everything,
it held my camera and more and it was easy to hold on to all night.

Shoes: Pointy, nude Nine West heels

Jewelry: Silver seashell bracelet & silver dangly earrings.

3. Little Black Dress by Eliza J via Nordstrom Rack

I wore this to my brother's wedding 

and was anxious to get a chance to wear it again!

Dry Shampoo

 Have you ever used dry shampoo?

I've always been a little skeptical... sounded too good to be true.

I saw it in the travel sized section at the store 

and decided I'd spend $3 to give it a try.

I don't have time to wash, dry, straighten & style my hair everyday.

I started using this every other day 

and it may have changed my life!

It's really easy to use (see directions below) and my hair looks great.

It doesn't weigh my hair down and it's quick!

Give it a try to make your morning a little easier.

I'm definitely going to be purchasing the full size this week!
