Summer (HOPE) To Do List

Happy June!!

Happy Summer!!

And Happy Friday!!

It is such a fun time of year.  Hot, but still fun.  We are hoping to pack lots of fun into June and July because Olive heads off to kindergarten in early August.  We were spoiled last year because PreK didn't start until after Labor Day.  Wouldn't that be fun if schools started after Labor Day and ended before Memorial Day??  I vote YES!

Our Summer (HOPE) To Do List:

Basically, there is no pressure to do every single thing on this list.  It just gives us lots of fun options when we're looking for something to do this Summer.  We will have June, July and August to cross things off our list.

We read And Then Comes Summer to get us excited about all the things Summer brings.  It's a darling picture book that would be good for kids of all ages.

  1. I love your list. And they are all do-able things! Our kiddos up here still have until the 16th of this month for school. And they go back to school after labor day. It's funny how different the north and south are when it comes to school =) Happy Friday!!

  6. From reading your list I just realized I get to buy Jack school supplies this year!!!!!! Oh my gosh I am so excited! I can not believe I didn't think about that! You seriously just made my day. It's going to be hard not to just go out and pick up the stuff myself because I LOVE school supplies! I'm going to let Jack pick out his own stuff even though I'm sure it will all be Paw Patrol. I love this list and I have a very similar list. We have splash pad, water balloon fight, and picnic on our list also. I need to add a movie to our list. Also, our library has a summer reading program that I'm thinking of doing with Jack.

  7. I'm not going to lie, I'm honestly jealous of all these kids going to VBS! That was one of my favorite summer activities growing up, so I hope Olive loves it!
