I'm skipping out on April goals this month since I'm still working on my March goals. I got a little over half of them done, but still need a few more weeks to work on that list.
I thought it would be fun to come up with a
Spring {Hope} To Do List
for my family.
It's the best kind of to do list - nothing we HAVE to do, but lots of things we'd LIKE to get to do. I asked my hubby to help create the list and I'm going to post it for us to refer back to often this Spring.
1. Find a new park to take Olive to that has equipment her size
2. Family walks in the evening to explore our neighborhood
3. Walk to the snow cone stand and get a treat to share. Fun fact: Snow cone stands are open year round in Mississippi
4. Take Olive to see the Easter Bunny
5. Spend some time in our yard getting things in shape for summer - weed, plant, tidy up and work on an attack plan for the mosquitoes
6. Take a picnic lunch to Kevin's work and eat outside
7. Get donuts on Sunday and try a new donut shop
8. Buy crab to make crab cakes for dinner one night
9. Grill out often
10. Sidewalk chalk with Olive
11. Buy Olive a kid pool for the backyard
12. Plan some play dates during the day
13. Make a Derby Pie to eat during the Kentucky Derby weekend
14. Squeezing in a little road trip somewhere new
What fun things are you hoping to do this Spring?
Oh my gosh - I love Derby Pie...and I always make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas...but why have I never made it for DERBY weekend? Duh! That's going on my to-do list. :) I didn't know your snow cone stands were open year round - ours do close for a few months but are open now that it's spring. Sounds like you have a yummy month planned!
ReplyDeleteI have never hearf of Derby Pie. I'm gonna have to look that one up. It is pie so I already know I will love it. This sounds like a good solid list and you are right about this being a way better list than a to do list of things you have to get done.
ReplyDeleteYes to Derby Pie! I should make one too! When is that?!
ReplyDeleteI love this list. I love derby pie. And Olive will love a little kiddy pool. Not hot enough here yet, but we'll get there. And we really need to figure out the mosquitos too - too many and too much time outside.
