Olive has always loved toys even when she was tiny. She's gone through phases with her toys so I thought I'd share her favorite toys from 18-24 months since that's about where we are right now.

DANIEL TIGER FIGURINES
She LOVES Daniel Tiger.
Dare I say she's obsessed??
She watched the little cartoon, has a few of his book, but these characters are her very favorite. She carries them everywhere, puts them to bed, feeds them, etc. I think my mom found these for her at Target, but I've seen them several place.

USBORNE VERY FIRST BOOK OF THINGS TO SPOT
and ACTIVITY CUBE
We picked this book up on a recent trip to Oxford, MS and it quickly became a favorite. The pages are FILLED with things to name and there are questions for the kids asking them to look for certain things. There are pages of neighborhoods, cats, penguins, robots, friendly monsters, oceans and dogs. Olive loves to read this with an adult, but she'll also "read" it INDEPENDENTLY for 15 minutes at a time. She turns the pages, points out things to herself and just loves it. We take it in the car or have taken it to doctor appointment. Best $12 I've spent in a long time.
My sister found this wooden activity cube at a garage sale for around $20. Olive loves every side. She sits and plays with it for good chunks of time.

THE PARTY CABINET
Seriously. She LOVES this cabinet filled with party plates, napkins, straws, cups and hats. If she ever gets too quiet, I usually find her throwing herself a little party. I keep Solo cups and other things accessible to her in the front and then have the real party supplies tucked safely away behind them. Maybe she'll grow up and love to plan parties like her mama??

FOAM BATH LETTERS & HER TOOTHBRUSH
I picked up the foam letters at Target about a month ago and they are her favorite bath toy. She practices her letters, stacks them, counts them and sticks them to the walls. Her toothbrush could also occupy her attention for good periods of time.
She also loves her baby dolls, stroller, bottles for them, interactive board books, balls, art supplies, her swing and pots and pans. What do your kids love to play with??
Now it's time to link up for Tuesday Talk!!
