Spoons 'N Spice

Spoons 'N Spice is the b.e.s.t. kitchen store that I have ever been to.
They have their stores packed with EVERYTHING
you could ever need for your cooking endeavors.
The store on 4700 S. and 900 E. is my favorite location.
They have an amazing cookie cutter wall & section!!
I can always find something that I need.
I also love their little shopping bags.
I have a few projects in mind for these new items:

Pumpkin Patch

My students watercolor painted brown fields for pumpkins
and orange/green paper to cut their pumpkins out of.
Once that was all dry, they started assembling their own, unique pumpkin patches.
They had to make a billboard advertising their places too.
It's a pretty cute bulletin board outside of my classroom right now.

Fall Fundraiser

Our good friend is a principal at a private school in Salt Lake.
He invited us to attend his school fundraiser recently.
The theme was:
They did a great job of carrying out their theme all over:
Our table centerpiece
 Our place setting:
Bandana napkins, twine napkin ring, lasso place cards
Giant mums, pumpkins, gourds & cowboy boots everywhere.
 Westerny after dinner mints
Our auction number was printed on the back of our program.
These were great because they were large enough for people to see
across the room when the bidding started.
They had grab bags for $5, $10, and $20.
They were sorted into mens, womens & children.
Each bag was filled with gift cards, coupons, and prizes of varying amounts.
We won a cookbook and big on a Boondocks gift card.
What a fun fundraiser!

I Love Fall

Surrounded by Fall Colors in Utah :)
This is my favorite tree that we walk past in our neighborhood.
I'm pretty sure I would buy a house on the spot if it had this tree in the yard.
insert: crunch, crunching on the leaves
Hope your fall is as colorful as mine!

Field Trip

Have you ever taken 28 kids on a field trip?
It's usually pretty fun but can be stressful to keep track of everyone.
I don't love riding the bus...
 The weather was lovely!
I always feel slightly sorry for the animals in the petting zoo when we invade.
The kids loved playing in this mini village.
It was a beautiful fall day in Salt Lake!

Hurry up and show it

I have this quote hanging on my fridge.
It's a good reminder.
