8 Summer Recipes I Couldn't Live Without

I'm happy to share some of my favorite Summer recipes with you today.  The weather is warming up nicely in the Midwest so it seems like I'm starting to crave salads, grilled meats and veggies along with really colorful, fresh meals!!  Today's post is all of my favorite summer foods.  Hope you find a new recipe to try at your house.

1. Fresh Avocado Salsa
I love taking this to any summer cookouts.

2. Potato Salad
Every time I take this to a gathering people ask me for the recipe.  It's SO GOOD and keeps for several days in the fridge.

3. Summer Pound Cake
I'm super excited to go strawberry picking this summer and make some pound cake.

4. Chicken Summer Salad
My husband and I love having this for an easy summer dinner.

5. Grilled Salad
This super easy grilled salad might be my very favorite summer side.  It's very easy to make, different that your usual warm sides and SO GOOD.  You've got to give it a try.

6. Strawberry Pie
I could eat this pie every week in the Sumemr time.  It's amazing and so pretty!

7. Cheeseburger Quesadillas
I really love this combo!  It was unexpected and very tasty.  My whole family ate these up!

There are just a few ingredients to this salad and it's the perfect summer lunch!

  1. Yes PLEASE! All of those look delicious! If it has to be summer, the food might as well be good! :) I made a basic potato salad last night and it was underwhelming. I'll have to try your recipe - I bet the sugar and steak seasoning really make a difference.
