Hello Friday! Nice to see you.
I am really ready for the weekend mostly because
I seem to be fighting off a combo of allergies/cold, fall break is quickly approaching
and cooler temps are here to stay.
Here are my highlights:
1. It's been an exciting week at my house!!!
Kevin got a big GREEN LIGHT on his dissertation proposal
and is going full steam ahead.
2. I purchased one new Halloween decoration this year.
Adorable - right?
Much to my surprise, I WON a contest that I entered for this cute gourd!
3. I made my first soup of the season.
Lasagna Soup.
Tune in tomorrow for the recipe.
It is delish!
4. I had my first book club meeting of the year and it was so fun!
I'm really going to enjoy getting to know these ladies better,
eat yummy treats and read some good books :)
5. I purchased this great scarf from World Market this week.
I'm loving all of the jewel tones and think it'll match TONS of things!
Best $15 I've spent lately.
