Fall is Here

I got out all of my pumpkins and Fall colored things this week.

The boys always enjoy helping me.

 Arrangements on the highest shelves so as not to be dinner for one orange feline.

 Oh and Scary the Scarecrow is a Fall staple.

 Now I just need to start making some pumpkin recipes :)

Touchdown Toast

Everything tastes better when it is adorable.

Touchdown Toast is no exception.

We are loving watching all the football games right now.

We were up early last weekend so I made a festive breakfast.

Here's what you'll need

Your favorite bread - 2 pieces per person

*Great Harvest Honey Whole Wheat was our choice.

 Football themed cookie cutters

(football & clover for Notre Dame)

 Lightly toast each piece of bread

Press cookie cutters into the middle.

 Make sure it goes all the way through

 Be careful because the sides are thin.

 Repeat with 2nd cookie cutter.

 Put in your pan and make sure they are flat.

 Crack open one large egg into each hole.

I carefully cut the yolk.

 I had a little leakage but for the most part it was easy.

 Add salt and pepper and let them cook until they are pretty set.

You'd don't want to throw egg everywhere when you go to flip them.

 I severed these plates with my favorite huckleberry jelly.

This is one of my new, favorite breakfast items!!

This four day work week sure went by quickly!

1. I'm loving all of the Peyton Manning commercials right now.

He cracks me up!

 2. I'm in full production mode for my upcoming Fall Art Show!

 3. I'm excited for the arrival of FALL!

I got out all of my pumpkins and fall decorations this week.

I just noticed that the leaves on the mountains are starting to change.

4. I was working hard in my classroom after school on Tuesday

when I turned around to see my husband delivering Jamba Juice to me!

He said that he'd figured my first day back to school would probably be a long one :)

5.I got new running shoes & new ear buds.
Now I just need to use them regularly :)

The only downside to the whole week is that I think I have shingles.
#awesome :(
