Pretty Pie Bites

Kevin asked for a yummy dessert so I challenged myself to make something using the ingredients in my fridge.  We had leftover cherry pie filling from another dessert and 2 cans of biscuits.  He really liked the pie filling so I was thinking he'd enjoy some pie bites.  Way faster than making a pie and a pretty delicious treat.

These pie bites are FAST to whip up and only require three ingredients.  They'd be easy to make for guests, to take to a Christmas party or to share with friends.  The adults at my house loved them.

Ingredients:
2 cans of biscuits
1/2 can cherry pie filling
butter cream icing

Preheat the oven to 350 and bake for around 8-10 minutes.  Grease mini muffin tin.  Flatten each biscuit and then put about 3 cherries + pie filling in each biscuit.  Pinch sides of biscuit together and bake.  Bake the biscuits as directed on the can and take them out when the tops are barely browned.  Let cool and then drizzle icing on top.  These are really tasty served warm.

You can even ask your kids to help you with flattening the biscuits or scooping 3 cheeries + filling into the pan.

These pie bites are SO PRETTY!!

I'm not a huge cherry pie fan, but I really enjoyed these.
They're perfectly festive for this time of year and so simple to pull together.
They look way more complicated so your friends and family will be impressed.
