Spring Favorites: Floral, Embroidered & Stripes

I'm excited to share some Spring outfit ideas with you today!  I'm loving the warmer weather and enjoying that it's still cool enough for layers.  My outfits have to be easy to put together, work for all of our daily activities and look cute despite being climbed on all day long.  Being a mom of littles means I end up feeling like a human jungle gym all day long so I'm happy to have go to outfits that can handle the hands on attention they get.  My current favorite outfit inspirations are:
FLORAL
EMBROIDERED
& STRIPES

FLORAL DRESS
I wore this combo on Easter and it was perfect for the drizzly morning.
dress - Old Navy
lightweight sweater - GAP outlet
flats - Payless
flower earrings - NEW Polka-Dotty Place etsy shop
Olive's dress (Target NEW), bow (Julia's Bowtique), shoes (Meijer)
Fletcher's outfit (Kohls NEW)

EMBROIDERED DRESS
I knew I had to have this dress from Old Navy when I saw it this season. It comes in at least 4 different colors and I kind of wish I owned all of them.  It's lightweight, super comfy, fits true to size and works as a dress or tunic.  Do you own it??
dress - Old Navy NEW
earrings - Kate Spade
leggings - Wal-mart NEW
flats - Target

STRIPES
I LOVE these striped Xhilaration tops from Target!  They're in the junior's section and I loved the long sleeve peplum option.  They're no longer available on-line, but I know a ton of people have them.  I picked it up on olive stripes and the black and white stripes.  They're thin enough that they are perfect for Spring.

I also love the Old Navy tee's and wear this striped one all the time.
I'm finding myself repeating this outfit all the time:
printed/graphic t-shirt, skinny jeans, earrings and flats

What are your favorite clothing items this time of year???

I'm currently on the hunt for some COMFORTABLE flats
& new skinny jeans.

Do you have any flats or jeans that you LOVE??  I'm ALL EARS!

Linking up with The Pleated Poppy today.

  1. Such cute outfits. Love them all! My favorite flats are the Lucky brand Essie flats. I think I have five different colors.

  2. Cute, cute and CUTE! I am loving that embroidered dress Whitney. I just picked up a super cute light weight dress at Sams the other day... which was super exciting since my tall dress I ordered from ON ended up being too short on me.

  3. Ahhh, you look darling!! I just returned that embroidered ON dress yesterday (in blue) bc I just felt like it didn't do anything for me, and now I'm kicking myself! You look darling! I've picked up a few peplum tops from JCP lately - from their A.n.a section. I'm loving those! I'm gonna look for the striped tops from target - mine are all ready to be replaced ;) Thanks for the fashion inspiration!

  6. Love these outfits! The flats that I have that are really comfy are my Tory Burch ones (thrifted from Poshmark) and Lucky Brand ones. As for jeans, I usually go with Gap.

  9. AG jeans or Hudson jeans are very soft and stretchy! If you want more of a straight leg I would suggest the matchstick jeans from JCrew! I love a good jean!

  10. I've been trying to add more floral to my wardrobe. I have plenty of stripes and black and white. But color? Not so much but I hope to change that soon.
