Happy Friday!! I hope you've had a wonderful week and are looking forward to some fun Easter plans with family and friends this weekend. We're supposed to get some rain so we are going to try to squeeze in as much outdoor fun as possible when we can. We've got an egg hunt this morning, Bunny Brunch tomorrow, Easter fun with our family and I'm hoping to bake some sugar cookies for our neighbors at some point. Should be a good time!!
I'm joining in the fun link up of Little Letters this week.
Here are some little letter moments:
Dear Sams,
Your outdoor rugs are the cutest and the $9 price tag is amazing. I wish your GIANT outdoor rugs would go on clearance.
Dear Duplos,
Thank you for always making me smile. Olive makes Kevin and I a Duplo trophy most nights after dinner. She'll give them to us and tell us why we earned the trophy. She usually says "This is for all your hard work" or "This is for all your hard dinner!" to thank me for my cooking. It's super sweet.
Dear TH Children's Museum,
Thank you for having exhibits and activities that BOTH of my kids will love. This is Fletcher's favorite corner of your museum and Olive has been talking non-stop about MEASURING after your science class this week. Learning really is fun!!
Dear Easter,
We are ready for you!! We have fun plans and the kids are going to have a blast. I have no clue what I'm wearing so I hope to figure that out before our brunch and church this weekend. This bunny lunch was a big hit and we're hoping to make a bunny treat this weekend.
Dear Disney Junior,
Please stop showing toy commercials in between your cartoons. I hate that my child is being bombarded with these weird toys and then asking me to buy them for her.
Dear Road Trip to Chattanooga,
We had a blast and figured out that the key to avoiding car sickness is FRESH AIR. Thankful that Kevin does 95% of all our road trip driving and I do 95% of all the packing. We loved your city!! It was so family friendly and walkable with a double stroller. We are ready for our next adventure.
Dear Mellow Mushroom,
Your pizza is amazing!! It's worth the wait and we love watching your chefs throw the pizza dough. I wish I could make homemade crust as delicious as yours. My entire family loves your food and we are thankful to have had a dinner out where everyone had a great time. No rushing, no whining and lots of eating delicious food.
Dear Kevin,
Thank you for researching, deal hunting and building the kids this awesome fort for our backyard. I just know that they're going to use it a ton in the years to come. I am so proud of you for learning how to do something you've never done before.
Dear Dad,
So glad we could be there to celebrate your birthday! Hope you felt loved!! Also, not sure how I ended up being the oldest kid and the shortest one of the bunch. At least Mom's wish came true and we all ended up taller than her. And Dear Mom, your pies were delicious!!
Dear Olive,
Thank you for loving to craft and do art projects with me. Thanks for making our Easter place cards. They're adorable. I'm so glad that these glittery foam shapes did not shed any glitter as you were working. Daddy hates glitter :)

Dear Fletcher,
Your climbing skills get better and better each day. Please be careful as you give your dear Mama heart attacks all day long. Thank you for being so snuggly sweet. I hope your newest teeth pop through soon so we can all get a little more sleep.

Linking up with Little Letters,
What a great idea to do a blog post like this. Very cool. It looks you had a good week. What kind of carrier do you have, that you can have Fletcher on your back like that. With my youngest now over a year, I think having her on my back will be much easier.
ReplyDeleteYou have a climber too. My youngest ( 14 months) likes to climb everywhere!
Have a great Easter.
Mellow Mushroom is one of our favorite restaurants!! Such great food and a fun atmosphere, have a great Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove that welcome mat from Sam's!! I might have to get one for the new house! So glad you had such a wonderful time in Chattanooga… We really need to get there and visit… I've heard so many wonderful things about that city! Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend friend!
ReplyDeleteOh the duplo trophies melt my heart! And you will LOVE having a play set. I'm so glad we have ours. The boys adore it! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! My oldest niece and nephew love the children's museum in Cincinnati. It's great. Aw, love those Easter placemats Olive made. too cute.

Ugh those ridiculous Disney two headed towel + pillow things. Fun post! Sent you an email about Lawter's thoughts on it hahaha : )
ReplyDeleteOh goodness he IS a good little climber! I bet that really keeps you on your toes. Kevin did a great job on the swing set. We have had ours for 5 years now and they still play on it. Although, it wont be moving with us. You and Olive are always making something adorable. I hope y'all have an amazing Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love this Little Letters idea! How cute! We were just in Chattanooga last week, too. Did you attempt Rock City? I posted a few pictures on my Friday Favorites this week from our adventure there. And I have to say that I love that your daughter makes you Duplo trophies - that's the sweetest!
ReplyDeleteI totally went to Sam's Club to find a new rug (since we're selling our house) and was genuinely bummed when our store didn't have them. So I'm still on the hunt!
