Drafting Your Summer Bucket List

June seems to signify the start of summer and I'm already thinking of things I want to do for fun this summer.  I know I'd like to post some type of list that we can check things off of and have it hanging in a central location where everyone can be reminded of the fun things we hope to do.  I also want my husband to help me create our family bucket list so that he's also excited about our options.

Things that are on my list so far:
1. Introduce my baby to the pool
- get her a baby float and frequent our neighborhood pool
2. Try out new restaurants within walking distance of our house
3. Go berry picking
4. Head down to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings
5. Walk at the mall when it's too hot to walk outside
6. Bring picnic lunches to my husband at work
7. Go down to Gulf Shoes, AL for a trip to the beach
8. Catch up on scrapbooking
9. Attend some local festivals - watermelon, tomato, etc.
10. Take Olive to play at some local parks.
11. Eat some gelato
12. Attend a local baseball game
13. Exercise regularly
14. Plan out the details for our move to Mississippi
15. Attend the Hot Air Balloon Fest in July
16. Grill as much as possible

I like the way that these lists look
so I'm shooting for trying to recreate something similar.

What's on your summer bucket list?

  1. I love the idea of a summer goal list! And most of it is fun stuff so you'll have a good time completing everything. The hot air balloon festival sounds fun!

  4. This is a great idea! Since this is going to be our last summer living in Chicago, I have so many things I want to do so I should really put it into list form like this! We also want to visit a farmers market and grill ALL the time :)
