Today is a day that Kevin and I have been talking about for years. Literally. He's been working towards this since 2004 when he started this whole PhD adventure. His clinical internship, one of the last items on his checklist of requirements to graduate, starts bright and early this morning. He was a little nervous (new city, new job, new expectations, new EVERYTHING!) but I know (and pray!) that he will make friends, enjoy his job and learn a lot. Good luck My Love!
So exciting! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about PhDs, or what your husband's field is, but it sounds like we had a similar journey. While working full time and with a newborn at home, my hubby started (and finished) law school. He's been practicing now for 5 years..but those days were NOT easy!
Thanks Kristen! Kevin's field is Clinical Psychology and it sounds like you really can relate to our situation. He loves what he does so it's been an exciting journey for our family. We are looking forward to getting to know Little Rock and enjoy all it has to offer for the year.
DeleteGo get em Kev, You are in a wonderful time of life.. New home, new baby, new job, great time oin life. Go get em Tiger. Love ya! Grandma
