Happy Friday!! This week really flew by for us. It rained ALL week long and we stayed home a lot. It was nice to get lots of things done around the house.
I am excited to share some current Walmart favorites with you.
I've said it before, but Wal-Mart has really been killing it in the home decor, women's clothes, kid's clothes and accessory departments for over a year now. Their Time and Tru line for women is SO AFFORDABLE and amazing. The Wonder Nation line for kids is DARLING. And the Better Homes and Gardens line for the home is spot on. I just love seeing so many great finds for under $20.
I'm going to start out with the items that I've purchased and then share items that I liked, but didn't buy. I am trying hard to make sure that I only buy things that I LOVE lately.
Here are the things that I OWN:
$14.96 No Boundaries Tapestry Bag!! This bag is SO PRETTY. I was really excited to find it. I'd been wanting a new bag to carry and gave myself a budget to buy one. Little did I know that Wal-Mart would come through for me and keep me WAY under budget. It's got outside and inside pockets, tassel charm on it and I still believe the price. I've seen similar bags go for over $100.
Time and Tru Striped button down shirt dress. This was $24.78 and I just love it! It looks very Madewell inspired for a fraction of the cost. I love the tie belt, the pocket and the color of the stripes. I can't wait to style it for you soon (aka when it ever stops raining!). It comes in 3 or 4 different fabrics, but this one was my #1 favorite. It runs true to size and is very flattering.
Aren't these gingham Summer serving pieces so much fun?!? The plates were $1.97 each and the trays were around $5 each. They'll be perfect for all our Summer gatherings.
Olive has been requesting capri leggings now that the weather is warming up. They run around $10 a pair at stores like Old Navy or Primary.com. I was excited to find these in great basic colors for just $3.98. They even claim to "tough cotton" and almost feel like a performance pant without any shine to make them look like athleisure. I'm hoping they work for her!
Now on to the things I loved browsing through, but didn't buy:
Summer hats, cover ups, sunnies and more for under $12.
This button down dress is really popular. It' snot my style, but it's super cute. Isn't this fabric cute? I think they also had it in a button down shirt. Lots of kimono options, too!
I loved the size of this circle bag. It was big enough to hold a lot of things.
These tops and shorts for little girls were really cute. I loved the price point for kid's athletic wear.
I loved this Men's swim trunks!! I'm going to try to talk Kevin into going back to buy a pair. I couldn't decide on which size he'd wear otherwise I would have bought them for me. Wouldn't they be fun for a Summer trip to the ocean??
There were SO many great serving pieces for under $20. I love all of it, but didn't need anything.
This is such a steal for $13!! Two pack of Stainless steal tumblers. They are such great cups! We have a couple and they've lasted for years. They keep ice frozen for HOURS. We love these.
Hair accessories are all the rage this season. I've purchased a few scrunchies for myself. I loved the patterns they had here. I also liked the barretts, but didn't want to pay $5 for four of them.
What's your favorite item from this round up?
Have you picked up anything great at Walmart lately?

You're so right! Walmart has been killing it! Their Time and Tru line has offered so many super cute pieces. I just gave my niece a T&T purse for her Sweet 16 yesterday and she loved it! This post is filled with such great finds and I especially adore your bag and button down shirt dress! Have a great first weekend of May! :) xo - Brenda // ChattingOverChocolate.com
ReplyDeleteI've checked EVERY local store for that button down tank dress and we didn't get any. I am so sad! I want one!
ReplyDeleteThose are some cute finds; but honestly, I try to avoid our Walmart at all costs. I grabbed 5 items this week and spent over 20 minutes in line waiting to get checked out...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite item is the tapestry bag with the tassel...great find. I haven't seen the gingham items in our store yet. They will be so fun for summer. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo many cute find! I love the dress you got!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that striped dress on you and that bag is so cute! I also saw those cute barrettes the other day but amazon has the better deals on those. You can get a pack of 7 for $10. :)
