St Patrick's Day Weekending

Hope you had a fun St Patrick's Day weekend!

We had a busy one filled with lots of St Patrick's Day fun!  We baked treats for friends, went o a parade, ate lots of rainbow foods and had a nice weekend.  Our babysitter got sick last minute and had to cancel so that was a bummer.  Luckily, it all worked out just fine.  We enjoyed an evening at home and will reschedule with her again soon.

The weather cooperated for us to go to our local St Patrick's Day parade on Saturday.  It was sunny, beautiful and chilly!  We all bundled up and had a great time.  The kids got lots of candy and saw everything from firetrucks to hugging ducks and lots of friends.

We've been in our city for 3.5 years and we are both getting to the point where we know people most places we go.  Kevin saw coworkers from the hospital, I saw friends from lots of different circles and then the kids saw their friends.  Sure is nice to love where you live.

St Patrick's Day!  All the green, clovers and rainbows.  We celebrated by having lunch out at our favorite Mexican restaurant.

We did rainbow art.

Baked rainbow treats.  This holiday drawer in my kitchen island is one of my very favorite spots.  Excited to swap out all the rainbow sprinkles for Easter pastels this week.

Delivered clovers to Kevin's office.

Mailed out some cute kid art St Patrick's Day cards.

Olive loves tennis so much that we signed her up for a second session.
Fletcher is the sweetest brother cheering her on from the sidelines.  He's dying to get out there and play with her.

Olive swapped out her first pair of unicorn earrings for these rainbows.  They're so cute.  Justice has really cute earrings for little girls in case you're in the market.

I made a rainbow charcuterie board.

Rainbow Jello - Kevin loves it so much that I made some for him to share with his students.

St Patrick's Day lunch.

We had to really bundle up for the St Patrick's Day parade.  It was sunny and blue skies, but it was only maybe 40 degrees.  I was glad we brought blankets.

Fletcher was hilarious at the parade.  He was yelling HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY to everyone, insisted on hugging this giant duck, grabbing all the candy and just loving life.  Glad he finally warmed up enough to participate.

Did you do anything fun for St Patrick's Day this weekend?
