Apple Picking at Ski Hi

We look forward to going apple picking every Fall!  There aren't many apple orchards near us anymore so we always put it on our Fall Break to do list.  I think this was our 3rd Fall picking apples at Ski Hi fruit farm in Baraboo, Wisconsin.  It just a few minutes from The Dells and close by Devil's Lake State Park.  They only do you pick apples on the weekends so we made to sure put that on our weekend plans.

We picked apples first and then headed to their store.  We tried their apple slushies, apple cider donuts, apple pie, apple drinks and brats.  They have delicious food and really cute souvenirs.  The boys wore their sweatshirts from previous trips.

They said they'd been busy this picking season so there were some ladders out to help reach the apples that were up high on the trees.  The boys loved that challenge!

We picked a lot of honey crisp and golden delicious.

We ate our way through the orchard.

Fletcher spotted a nest in the apple tree.

These tiny apples were so cute.

Roy the orchard guy told us that picking an apple with leaves on it was like getting an apple trophy!  We all got some apple trophies.

Honey Crisp always and forever.

Kevin loves to get a hard cider flight.

We visited the animals and drove a tractor.  Leo told us that he's going to grow up to be a farmer.

It was the perfect Fall day at Ski Hi!
